For more than 20 years, we have been welcoming travelers to Portugal & Spain and accompanying them along the paths, flavors, and stories that make these countries so special. But we learned early on that a journey never happens in just one place. Flights cross everyone's skies, emissions know no borders, and the climate is a home we all share.
That's why our vision doesn't stop where the map of Portugal & Spain ends.
We are members of Sustainable Travel International, a global organization that has worked for more than two decades to protect the places and communities that make travel possible, from coral reefs to forests, from mountains to the villages that watch over them.


Being a guardian means caring for what isn't ours

A guardian is not an owner. A guardian is someone who has been entrusted with something precious and wants to hand it on to the next generations even more beautiful than they found it. This is how we look at the planet. We are only guests and, like good guests, we want to leave the house better than we found it.


What this means in practice


Measure to reduce. We calculate the carbon footprint of our trips using Sustainable Travel International's tools. What gets measured can be improved.
Offset what we can't yet avoid. We invest in carbon programs that support nature protection and community development in different parts of the world. Offsetting does not replace reduction. It complements it.
Learn as a network. We are part of a global community of tourism professionals who share knowledge, tools, and best practices.
Travel better, together. We share simple ways to make every trip lighter, so that those who travel with us can also be part of the change.



Small choices, big horizons

The local guide who tells the story with a local accent. The accommodation that values the people who live there year-round. The meal that tastes like the place where it was made. The path traveled on foot. These are small choices, but, added up across thousands of travelers, they change destinations. And destinations that change for the better change the world.
