Walking Tour Barcelona Old Town (1/2day)

The beautiful neighborhood known as the Gothic Quarter is an area containing several remnants of the city's glorious past. Nowadays, due to constant modernization, it is easy to detect an old building right next to one built in the 90s. It is this mixture of old and new that brings people from all over the world to visit or stay in the Gothic Quarter. The narrow, winding streets create a perfect maze for a walk.

It is a neighborhood full of quiet streets and squares where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings and history. Some of the main attractions that our local guide can teach you, are the imposing Cathedral of Santa Eulalia, located in the heart of the neighborhood, as well as other buildings such as the Plaza del Rey, the remains of the Temple of Augustus, the Plaza and Church of San Felipe Neri or the surrounding streets of the so-called "call" or Jewish Quarter.

If you wish, in one of the many medieval palaces, the Berenguer de Aguilar Palace, the current Picasso Museum in Barcelona is installed, which is well worth a visit if you so choose.
